Baskets

I have been weaving baskets for more than twenty years.  My basket journey has allowed me to explore a variety of techniques and materials. The primary weaving technique I work with is called splintwoven basketry and I work with a natural reed.  Any colors I use are dyed by me and most of  my baskets are finished with a natural black walnut dip that I create. My recent work has evolved into maintaining traditional weaving methods and then adding as much texture as possible.
